John Ferris remembers Jac's eclectic taste and willingness to take creative risks

One RAT party Bill Morley was playing and Bill was known to be very unique DJ - he didn't mix and would play ANYTHING! And I mean anything! He could easily upset people both on and off the dance floor.

And when 4,000 people on the dance floor at and Bill is to follow on after a good dance floor set (by someone I can't remember) and Bill starts off by playing the Beatles! I was horrified. People were stunned. He then proceeded to play some 50's song and it was just crazy and not disco or club or house music.

I was to play after Bill and I thought it was a big mistake  crazy. It seemed like he hated what had been on before and hated the crowd. But Jac came and said,  "this is what Bill does, isn't he great!" that fact that Jac risked the entire event on one performance,  Jac and Bill were right, it was a crazy set but people loved it!!

Taught me a thing
